Yoga is the method by which the restlessness of mind is calmed and energy is directed into constructive channels. When mind is controlled it provides a reservoir of peace and generates abundant energy for the human uplift. The right means are just as important as the end in view. Patanjali enumerates these means as Eight Limbs of Yoga for the quest of the soul. Each is equally important and crucial.
